Awarded 4 Stars by the Scottish Tourist Board, Seaquoys provides high quality self-catering accommodation in Westray.
Situated approximately 2 miles from Pierowall village, Seaquoys enjoys panoramic views over Ouse beach to the south and the island of Papa Westray to the east.
On a clear day, Sanday can be seen when looking eastwards across the bay.
Various boats sail out of Gill Pier and they can be seen coming and going during the day. This includes the Golden Marianna which does the regular sailings between Westray and Papa Westray.
Seaquoys is surrounded by open countryside and is ideally located for short walks to the beach, or, longer walks northwards to the Scaun - a natural sea arch forming part of the more rugged section of the north west coastline of Westray.
A short walk up the the road will bring you to the Wheeling Steen art gallery and soon to be opened tea rooms.
A mile or so further in the same direction is the airfield where you can take the shortest scheduled flight in the world(Guinness Book of Records) to Papa Westray. The plane that provides this vital inter-island link carries only 9 passengers and lands twice daily. Please be assured that the noise factor is insignificant.
